Today’s SWAT meeting results:

Sector Miami, Port of Miami, Port of Miami River and Port Everglades continue under condition X Ray and will for at least 12 hours due to the continued potential for gale force winds. USCG cautions it is redeploying some rescue vessels and warns that sea state will be dangerous for any but the largest vessels.

High tide and the closest proximity of Hurricane Irene coincide today at 1800 hours presenting the strong possibility of coastal flooding in Palm Beach County.
